PGA News
Talk about a Hawaiian rollercoaster ride! 🏄♂️ The 2024 Sentry Tournament of Champions in Kapalua was a total birdie-fest, ending with Chris Kirk smashing expectations to grab the win. Kirk, who wasn't the hot bet at the start (odds were in the +13000 ball park!), dazzled everyone by finishing at a jaw-dropping 29-under par.
Sahith Theegala was so close, yet so far, ending up just one shot shy of Kirk. Theegala's almost-magical putt on the 18th just didn't drop, missing a playoff chance by a whisker. His 10-under par final round fell just short. Meanwhile, Jordan Spieth snagged the third spot, proving yet again why he's a crowd favorite.
And let's not forget the five tied for fifth - Sungjae Im, Brian Harman, J.T. Poston, Collin Morikawa, and Scottie Scheffler, all bringing their A-game!
Count 'em up 📈
A record-setting 34 birdies last week for Sungjae Im @TheSentry.

Kirk’s stunning 5-iron on the 17th was the talk of the town, landing 3 feet from from the pin setting him up for that sweet birdie to seal the deal. His short game was just fire 🔥, topping charts in Scrambling and Strokes Gained. This tourney was like watching golfing superheroes in action, setting up an electrifying start to the PGA Tour's 2024 season.
