Golf Trip
Sorry for no email last week, we were out at the Canadian Open and time got away on us! We will be down at the US Open in a few weeks, if anyone has any tips to make the best of our trip let usk now! Now on to this weeks course..
If you’re looking for a fun and challenging round of golf, the Hoot Course at TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley in Caledon, Ontario, is a must-visit! Designed by the renowned Doug Carrick, this wasteland-style course opened in 2001 and quickly became a fan favourite. Imagine wide fairways, expansive waste bunkers, and scenic vistas that make every hole a new adventure.
The Hoot Course is known for its "risk-reward" holes that test both your mental and physical skills. It’s like scenic journey through rolling bunkers and wooded shelter - sounds like a golfer's dream, right? Plus, it’s been ranked among the top public courses in Canada by ScoreGolf, so you know you’re in for a treat.
You will love the balance this course strikes between being approachable yet challenging. Whether you're a seasoned pro or a weekend warrior, you’ll find something to love about Hoot. The course’s design keeps you engaged with its varied landscapes and strategic bunkering no matter your skill level.
So, grab your clubs and head out to TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley for a "hoot" of a time! (cheesy, I know)

During the RBC Canadian Open, C.T. Pan experienced a dramatic final round with four caddie changes after his regular caddie, Mike "Fluff" Cowan, was injured. A local fan, Paul Emerson, briefly stepped in as one of the caddies. Despite the chaos, Pan managed a 120-yard eagle hole-out on the 12th hole, finishing the day with a one-under 69, just outside the top 35. Imagine watching golf, having a couple beers, and next thing you know you’re inside the ropes..
