Golf Trip
This week we're heading to the vibrant coastal city of Biloxi, Mississippi for an epic 3-day golf trip. If you haven't heard of Biloxi before, add it to the bucket list!
This place is a gem, boasting stunning beaches, top-notch golf courses, and a pile of casinos. And hold on, foodies, you're in for a treat! Biloxi has a plethora of restaurants serving up fresh seafood and delicious Southern cuisine.
Day 1, our first stop is Shell Landing Golf Club.
Brace yourselves, because this course is no walk in the park. With its challenging layout, jaw-dropping scenery, and impeccable conditioning, Shell Landing will put your skills to the test.
The front nine holes will have you navigating through a forest of majestic trees. Flat terrain, you say? Don't get too comfortable, as water hazards and tactical bunkers are there to keep you on your toes.
The back nine holes amp up the challenge with elevation changes and gusty winds. Mother Nature loves a good golf challenge, doesn't she?
No matter your skill level, Shell Landing Golf Club is a must-play for all golfers visiting the Gulf Coast.
Green Fee: $80 USD for 18 and a cart.
Day 2 - we are playing Grand Bear Golf Club.
It's a Jack Nicklaus Signature Design course that's got it all.
With its challenging-yet-fair layout. Grand Bear promises an unforgettable experience for golfers of all skill levels. Navigate through pristine natural surroundings, including towering pines, cypress wetlands. And to top it off, the stunning Biloxi River for picture-perfect backdrops.
Get ready to test your skills on Nicklaus' signature design features, like wide fairways, undulating greens, and perfectly placed bunkers. And speaking of greens, get ready to be challenged! They've got slopes and breaks that will keep you on your toes.
The finishing stretch along the Biloxi River will leave you breathless. Enjoy the stunning views and tackle the challenge head-on as you wrap up your round.
Green Fee: You’re looking at anywhere form $100 - $130 USD for 18 and a cart.
Day 3 - last but certainly not least we are playing Fallen Oak Golf Course.
Fallen Oak has quietly become one of the most acclaimed golf courses in the country. With challenging layouts, pristine conditions, and stunning scenery, it's a golfer's dream.
Rolling fairways, undulating greens, and sneaky bunkers keep you on your toes. Add in the water hazards, and you have a course that tests every skill level.
The beauty of Fallen Oak is unmatched. Nestled among rolling hills and majestic live oak trees. It offers breathtaking views of the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
Not only has Fallen Oak hosted professional tournaments like the Mississippi Gulf Coast Classic. But amateur golfers also flock here from all over. It's a popular hotspot. And it's no wonder why.
As far as accommodations go, in order to play Fallen Oak you need to be a guest at Beau Rivage Resort & Casino. So thats where we are staying.
If you don’t want to play Fallen Oak there are a pile of hotel options. Too many to mention here!
These courses all look insanely nice. I wonder if the people of Biloxi know how good they have it.. 😉
